Swimmer's Wave Heights

Below are real-time wave height measurements from several New Jersey beaches. These waves are actually measured from our Coastal Radars from about 1/2 mile offshore. * These measurements are from undersea nodes 5.5 miles out from Great Bay Inlet. The nodes are currently out for scheduled maintenance until the summer.

** Wave Measurement gauges have been moved. Brant Beach gauge is now at Breezy Point, NY. Brigantine gauge is now at Sandy Hook, NJ. These moves are due to current research in these new areas.
